I got 2 of those. 1 for downstairs and 1 for upstairs. The second one I bought about 1 week after using the original, obviously I liked it to spend money on another one of those. But the second unit was defective, it would turn on but would not respond to any button inputs. it also looked used as if someone returned it before – there were smudges on the unit itself which was inside plastic package and the box it arrived in looked like it was sealed not from factory but I paid for a new unit. So this is very disappointing. However the initial unit is great, it’s cleaning the air and setting it up took about 5 min. The app works great, no connection issues and very responsive. I’m currently waiting for a replacement to the second unit. I will give the benefit of the doubt for a simple oversight and give this product/company 4 stars instead of 2 which I will update to if the replacement unit is also used or defective.
UPDATE: I have now received the replacement unit and its working as expected out of the box, up and running in 5 min, including connecting it to the app. I’m going to update to 5 stars as it wasn’t much trouble to get a replacement unit and it solved my issue.

Yo compre dos este y el Core300s…. la unica ventaja del core300S es quye gasta 10W menos (25W)…Mientras que el Vital 100S gasta 35W.
Entre los dos me gusto mas el Vital 100S.

This machine is well designed and the size is convenient to leave in a room or move it if you wish. The variable speed fan spools up and then settles into the speed you easily set. It’s incredibly quiet, especially on the lower settings. In the short time we have had the machine we have definitely noticed an improvement in the air quality. We haven’t used the app yet, but the controls are pretty simple. We are happy with this purchase.

I have severe allergies and been researching and trying to decide on what air purifier to get. Hepa was the main thing I was looking for. Finally settled on this one. It was an early Christmas present to myself. I got the air purifier a month ago and it’s been running in my room since. Wow what a difference so far. Before, my room always felt stale and stuffy. I tried a small cheap air purifier but it didn’t do much and wasn’t big enough for my room to really help. This levoit one is great. I love that the filters are washable and the other can be changed every 9 months or so. They even have different filter options to use, I definitely want to try to pet/allergy one next. I like that this air purifier is a smart device as that was another factor that made me choose this one. I love that I can control the air purifier from my phone, even if I’m not at home. On the app, I can see the air quality it’s detecting and it shows me the life % of the filter. I can also set reminders to tell me when to clean the filters. Can also schedule the air purifier to turn on or off, as well as the mode & there’s even a timer. On the highest mode, which would be 4 it isn’t noisy at all & can even sleep. If you’re looking for a true hepa air purifier, I highly recommend this one, especially for the price which is fairly decent compared to the more expensive ones I’ve looked at.

I have used this air purifier for almost a month. It is very easy to use. The app is very intuitive and simple to understand. It is very quiet and seems to draw in a good amount of air. My only question… I have pets in the house. My heat pump filter is filled with dust every month and I have to replace it. The purifier says my air quality is Very Good. I have a difficult time believing this since my heat pump filter has so much dust in it. Of course, it can be said that the heat pump filter is cleaning the air so the purifier does not have to. I am going to move it to a bedroom that has a dust problem. We shall see if there is a difference in dust accumulation. Based on the positives, I give the product four stars. Will update to five if it has an effect on the bedroom.

so fatr easy to et up and run , quiet at low to medium speeds at highest speed it would disturb my sleep l but it sure moves a lot of air at high speed . Turned it on and after 20 minutes it said airwas clean . The big test will be in summer when i open the widows and all the pollen needs to be cleaned . will give it a few weeks to see if dust is cut down . Don’t use any apps , read the small print , no thanks
After 2 days use notice I no longer have to blow my nose every 10 minutes , so this must be filtering something out of the air that was irritating my nose . Very happy with purchase
After 3 weeks of use cleaned the pre filte as it was full of dust the hepa filter was clean so the pre filter is doing itś job , at this rate the hepa and charcoal filters should last at least 4 months , notice there is much less dust in the room , 3 weeks and no dust on tv or laptop and furniture doing a great job

Works really well and has a lot of options you can tweak in the app. Has 4 fan levels, 4 is the loudest and kicks out a good amount of air, 3 isn’t bothersome at all noise level wise. Can even set custom trigger events based on air quality which I found handy. Easy to use and also find replacement filters for. VERY NICE

I bought the Vital 100S.
Like many reviewers of this product, I purchased it because the wildfire smoke had infiltrated my house. I never ever thought that I would be “that” person – someone who needed their own atmosphere! But the irritation in my nose and throat motivated me to buy this unit for my well-being.
The reasons I chose this model are: the true HEPA, of course! Also the 3-stage filter. The CADR was good for the size of my rooms (I have open concept on the main floor, and a vaulted ceiling upstairs) the pre-filter is cleanable and I like the fact that I can also get specialized filters for Pet, Toxin and Smoke (in case things get really crazy!). The reviews are excellent and the price is right. I am seriously considering buying another of Levoit’s units for the upstairs!
I have not used any of the “connected” features so I cannot comment on those.
The unit is easy to unpack and I was able to start using it immediately. It is very presentable; it’s also light enough to be portable because I’ve been moving it from room to room (when the wind shifts sometimes the smoke comes into a different part of the house). It’s super easy to use; I love the control panel, you just tap on it to turn it on, set the fan strength, and activate the timer. The first 2 fan settings are so quiet that I can barely hear that the unit is on. The third setting is a little louder but it IS moving a lot of air after all! I’ve only had it 2 weeks so haven’t had to clean it or change the filter.
One thing I didn’t consider thoroughly was the placement of the unit. In order to work properly any air purifier needs to be kind of in the middle of things. Proper placement of an air purifier is between 3 and 5 feet off the ground, with about 3 feet of open space around it. Luckily, the 100S fits well with my decor and is light enough to put on a table or my bookshelves. I was worried that it might vibrate a lot and eventually shake itself off the table but it’s staying put quite well.
So far, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I’ve had the Levoit air purifier for less than a month so I cannot attest to longevity or filter questions. But, so far, so good. I set it up on my first floor so about 800 sf of living space. I got it because of pet allergies. I have this one on my first floor and a smaller one in the bedroom. We seem to have less stuffy noses in the morning.
It was easy to set up and it is incredibly quiet. It typically runs at its lowest setting. I have it set to auto and it definitely kicked up a few weeks ago when I had some cooking fumes and smoke from something frying on the stove. It ran a little louder for about 10-15 minutes, cleared the air, and then cycled down to a lower setting. I downloaded the app which periodically sends me an update that my air is clean.

Got this due to the wildfire smoke. It works well and is super quiet.
I use it in my office which is about 12′ x 11′. I also used in bedroom and it is efficient. If you use in a larger room, it will take longer to clean.
In ‘sleep’ mode, I don’t even hear it at all and sometimes I think it’s off but it isn’t. It would be good for light sleepers. On high, it is louder but you would expect that.
The app is good too as there are lots of options. You can set timer by the minute, set up schedules, it will tell you the filter life, air quality, speed, etc. It also has light detection so if it is bright inside, the lights on the air purifier stay on. If inside light goes lower/dimmer, the lights on the air purifier turns off.
Auto mode is okay. If your air quality is good, the air purifier will go on low/sleep.
I’m glad I got this as my lungs feel much better

I have been using this filter for a month now, and I’m very happy with it! Levoit scored as the best quality purifier in this price range on every review page I read. The noise level increases as the levels increase, naturally. But, the lower levels are extremely quiet; I like the auto mode and pet modes the best. While it does not have a physical remote control, you can control it from your phone. I’ve been very happy with it!

Wow, very surprised, works just like you’d want your air purifier to, perfect ! We purchased after a major renovation, with drywall dust, grout, saw dust, etc. Handles the main floor of a 1650sq.ft. townhouse. Nice quiet modes, light sensing for nightmare, and full internet controls. As well as nice stand alone simplicity. 2 year warranty.
Going to buy another for upper bedrooms, really happy with this purchase and feel it’s far superior to the competitors.

We purchased 2 within 2 days apart. We have a dog who is always stinky even after getting bathed and groomed. We thought an air purifier would help and we were right! They really do help the rooms air smell better. We bought 1 that I’ve placed in the bedroom and 1 placed in between the kitchen and living room. Super easy to use, plus I downloaded the app so I can control each from my phone as well. They can get a little loud when on level 3 or 4 but it doesn’t bother us at all. When my husband cooks he uses the highest possible heat so everything burns or smokes lol the purifier turns onto level 4 automatically and starts getting our air back to normal. Sleep mode makes the machine stay really quiet while still running, if you have someone who’s a light sleeper. I also like the washable filter. I’ve had these for 2 weeks and as you can see it has caught dust in the removable filter and I can wipe that clean which will help the purifier keep running smoothly .
