Our NCCO products have been awarded both CARB and cETL, having passed UL867 ozone standard testing and regulation of ozone emission products. All ozone or Active Oxygen generated by these products product is consumed inside the device
  • GREAT FOR TRAVEL: The portable air purifier is your personal-size purifier on the go. Use it in your car, on an airplane or train, and in a hotel, making it ideal while traveling

With hotels increasingly allowing pets in the rooms, I decided to buy this for those travel situations that my dust, pet, and perfume allergies make miserable (even rental car air ‘fresheners’ give me headaches). I’ve been using it in my bedroom, along with a larger air filter, and it’s been running nice and quiet, even on it’s higher setting. I finally got to test it ‘in the wild’ over the holidays. Even in a very large room, my symptoms were dramatically reduced. I kept it next to my airbed (because, allergies) and woke up almost symptom-free. The next night, I turned it off and the symptoms returned.

This is my first time trying a personal air-purifier (I buy regular ones for my rooms) so, I can’t speak to value-for-money or whether this one is any more effective than others. But, I am certainly glad to have it!

Ordered this with excitement that I could finally carry something with me to help me breathe, as I have severe health problems with an autoimmune condition. First one arrived, unboxed, put everything together per the instructions. It tells you it will only run with the filters installed correctly. But when we tried to turn it on, it would just beep at us and the fan wouldn’t run. After looking over it carefully, my husband, who is more of a techie, discovered that there are two small holes that the main filter is supposed to have long enough pieces to push down to show that the filter is installed correctly. He actually used toothpicks in the two holes with everything taken apart, and the fan turned on, but the plastic pieces on the filter were so short that they did not turn trigger the fan to turn on.

We returned the first and had it replaced with a second. Same defect. This time, we called the phone number on the instruction manual for the Westinghouse product. Had to leave a message and eventually got a call back. This was a different company than Westinghouse that sold the product. When we explained the problem, he said it must be a manufacturer’s defect, and that we should send it back for a replacement. We explained that we had already done that and that this was the second one with the same defect. He said, then I guess you should send it back and ask for a refund. So terrible customer service on top of a defective product. So bad, especially with as high ticket an item as this is.

I really wished it had worked, as I was hoping it would do more than just a regular true HEPA filter, but I can’t even tell you if it would since we couldn’t get it to work with the filters in it. Don’t waste your time or money.

This air filter is small enough and quiet enough to take with me to meetings and restaurants. The filter is easy to replace. It is nice to have a choice of colors.

Leather strap came un screwed from case, one screw was loose inside the fan. Basically pointless aesthetic feature, the buckle strap that goes by the back functions just fine as a replacement.

I used it in my new car, it works very well, you can see some particles in the air was sucked into the air purifier. The battery of it is also enough for my everyday use so I do not have to bring the charger every day. The design is also very nice, with a handle, I can carry it with very easliy.

Sigh! What a disappointment that this portable purifier stopped working after 2 months of usage. Won’t recommend as it is not possible to find a service center out of US and Canada although warranty is 3 years.

Wry overpriced for a very poorly made product. It took ages to arrive and then turned up with the wrong plug. The cover you need to remove to put the filters in feels flimsy and I’ve had to put a rubber band around to hold it in place. Really poor for a brand new product that is hugely overpriced. The plus goes in the bottom and in theory is meant to sit flush. But has a forced pointed end that means you can’t stand the unit up while plugged in. Instructions are basic and not at all clear, plus don’t explain why there’s a weird half buckle strap and a tiny screwdriver in the box. I really wanted to like this, but it feels like something you could buy at a cheap import market stall in the 80’s, not a useful expensive portable air purifier in 2022. As this one took so long to arrive I bought a couple of other can/ cup holder sized portable ones and they are a fraction of the price and made much better. Shop around, this ain’t it and the price reflects the marketing not the product

I absolutely love this thing. I do a lot of traveling for work. On my own time, I do not dine indoors in public. Work trips get sketchy with that – sometimes I don’t have a choice. Up to this time, I have used an Aranet4 CO2 meter (gives a rough idea of the ventilation) to gauge my risk, which has helped a lot with knowing how to respond (whether to stay masked or if it’s a relatively lower-risk environment). When mandatory masking on flight went away, I invested in this cute little device. It was the only small HEPA filter I could find that had any reliable specs on it (all the others just say they are HEPA, but I can find no evidence that is true). It is SO easy to travel with – small footprint – can put on my tray table or if I have a window seat, between my arm and the side of the plane. If I can’t get out of an indoor dining experience with business partners, I set it on the table. I get equal parts impressed looks and “you’re nuts” looks when folks ask about it. Seems like a lot of people don’t even notice.

The only thing I don’t like is there is no indicator for when the filter should be changed. I guess you just see how dirty it looks – not the best in that regard, but it appears to be the best on the market overall for a small HEPA filter.

I purchased this primarily for a mid-April 2022 trip from San Francisco to family in Scotland, via Heathrow, AKA very much still pandemic times yet with masks optional and Heathrow a total free-for-all. I used this filter in conjunction with a CO2 monitor (as a roundabout measure of circulating exhalations at any given time) and a 3M Aura N95 that I wore CONSTANTLY in the airports and with the exception of meal times in flight. And I did not get sick, despite the downright tubercular, hacking people around me at times. When I happened to be seated near those types, this baby was steadily humming along on my tray table.

When we have 1-2 friends over for dinner (our sole indoor activity with other people right now), we pop this in the middle of the dining table.

So far, no COVID at all yet, knock on wood. I ADORE how quiet, small, portable, and effective this is. We have two other types of air filters in the house and this is by far the quietest. It stowed easily in my travel tote and no one in airport security ever questioned it or had any issue with it. The charge lasts a good long time. Really couldn’t be more pleased with it. Terrific value for the money.
